Manawatu weekend rides

I am liking the sound of this ride. So count me in at this stage!!!!!!!!!!. Will go look at dates and see if anything is happening.

Just a tentitive date at the moment looking at Saturday the 24th of April, if that does'nt suit or the weather is no good we can visit other dates after this date. Probably an over nighter in Hick Bay(?) again, thoughts please...

He been getting out on the "Bird" more than usual lately, would be mint to see him along on the Gorge/Cape trip.

I'm taking Dog's Daytona up to Kerry tomorrow and picking up the Tiger, weather depending. Just so happens that's in the vicinity of the FH if anyone's up that way

If you're heading up along Stratford-Opunake Rd keep a lookout for damp corners,even in afternoon they can be slippery,stay on that road till Stratford,new coffee place by turn off to Whanga on roundabout is ok apparently,diagonally accross from Shell servo.

Well I stupidly thought I could get a bit of a ride in today. Had a bit of a near miss. You need to look more carefully for Grey cars in this grey weather don't you.

Bonnie got me through though, and all is well that ended well. Just found out how much further I can lean my bike than I thought I could, & accelerated at the same time. Another lesson learned, I hope.

By the way it is friggin cold out there.
