the organisers of the Bert Munro Challenge Nov 2008 are VERY keen to have classic sidecars at the Teretonga circuit and the street race.

If you get a class and are short of a swinger let me know

Are there any classic racing chairs in the SI?

I understand we have the offer of classics only sidecars races if we can front up with 7 or more classic outfits. the entry is $90 which covers both Teretonga and the street circuit! We usually pull 10 or more classic outfits at the Nth Isld NZCMRR meets, so the question is how many NI outfits are prepared to head down and are there any classic (pre 76) rigs on the mainland that would enter?
Would be a cool meeting to do if we can get the numbers to commit

I only know of one outfiit down here that may qualify, I will let him know about it as he would normally race this event anyway in other classes

    Unfortunately...

The numbers havent confirmed, so no classic sidecars at the Burt Munro Challenge this year.

Lets all get to Wanganui instead.
