I don't wanna spend $40 on a pile of crap that may or may not be what I need, so hopefully the wise one will be able to tell me shortly eh.

I have one of those flat slides the same as the one which is still all there (maybe?). It's a semi-downdraught 28mm and would be perfect for a pretty good MB100 engine. $40 would be a good price and the rest goes in the bin.

Just doublechecked the ad. The complete carb is the sidedraught one. Still no worries as it's a good carb as well and I think the bits from that will swap to the other.
I'll see if the sidedraught fits the TF. If it does I'll take it.
