    Tyres

    Anyone had a tyre shop do there pocket bike tyres in Auckland?

    If someone can elighten me on how to do it myself, or recomend a place, that would be great.

    yup pitwerkz does PMT'S for $90 a pair which is realy gud for a good set of tyres

    sorry i meant $90 each.. but that is still cheap..and i dont know if thats fitted

    yup he'll fit them for you go on trad-me and type in polini and a polini carena will come into view click on it and go down to the end of the page and email him..his name is arnie

    D-bomb. I use Sava's and I'm suuuper pleased with them. Fitting them is a piece of cake if you have the right tools (two good tyre levers). I swapped a tyre in 10 min at a race meet once

    just interested....are all pocketbike tyres slicks? can you get grooved tyres?

    na you can heap of tires with groves but nobody buys them

    Slicks are the main tyre used for racing but you can get (grooved) wets Savas for twice the price... wear fast but on a wet day they hold on like a slick on a warm day.... you can also get china made wets but they dont handle any better then the slicks in the wet and wear twice as fast lol

    they look like a farkin hoot but i dont think my knees would be up the contortions required to stay on board

    You would be alright old fella.....
    They used to have them at daytona indoor raceway... Heaps of fun, scrapping elbows and knees, so close to the ground it hurts less when you come off lol
