    Best funeral songs

Inspired somewhat by a couple of recent threads. If you could be a fly on the wall at your own funeral, which songs would you pick for maximum comedic effect? Bad taste essential.

I think it somewhat depends on whether you're being cremated or buried, but:

    • Chris Rea - Highway to Hell
    • Doctor & the Medics - Spirit in the Sky
    • If buried, to be played as the coffin descends:
      • Going underground - The Jam
      • Down down, deeper and down - Status Quo
    • If cremated, to be played as the coffin slides into the oven
      • Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire
      • Meat Puppets - Lake of Fire
      • I'm on Fire - Jerry Lee Lewis

    Any more ideas?

Don't you mean AC/DC Highway to hell? Played during a funeral?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

must say his mum was not impressed.
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.

Sorry - Road to Hell, by Chris Rea. Not sure which one I was thinking of when I wrote it originally.

if you are referring to me as being the puller she walked out when he was 5. we knew him better than anyone at the service.

    "If I leave here tomorrow
    Would you still remember me?
For I must be travelling on, now,
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see.
But, if I stayed here with you, girl,
Things just couldn't be the same.
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you can not change.
    Lord knows, I can't change. "
