We live in a beautiful country!
987 km today.....I was away early, did the usual, including Pureora, National Park and other routes. Found a new road on the way to Kimbolton, that was a nice change. Disappointed in the closed paper roads though around Raetahi. I got the obligatory snap in front of Mum and Dads place.....Stunning day! The DR performs well on fuel economy, that's for sure. Sat on 100-110 kph to see how well she went.
and i bet you spend most of today cleaning it

Bollocks, get of your arse and go get it
Well that is a good run indeed, Usually 650ks and I'm done for the day
Did some calcs on your trip (was easier than doing the actual ride)
Figure you used 50-55 litres of fuel, 2 and a bit tank fulls on 800's 24 litre tank, If you left at 6am spent 11 - 12 hours in the saddle at an average of 80-90kph (allowing for towns) and 2-4 hours stop time you arrived home between 9-10pm (completely knackered)
Not a stalker just into numbers
Would have been a good shake down for DR and obviosly its up for the job
Im inspired and might watch some more riding on TV
Nah, must get down you guys way when I'm freed up in a few weeks (birthday parties and Wedding aniversaries to attend to at the mo )
If you want to you could map out trip for us but I'm guessing you were to busy churning out the mile to take to many pics
