You can get to a lot of places on slicks.
The challenge is getting back out of them
more proof there are others who can be utilised to ride my knobbly clad bike places after i have to get off and walk
You can always get down a hill. May not be pretty, but you can ALWAYS get down.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Like the Slippery Slope of Despair. Easy enough to get down...
Well actually, it's still a bugger to get down, but half an hour odd to get back up if your "mates" have deserted you...
Yeah, I'll have to get the knobby knife into action if we more intrepid than that!
That shower of rain sure made it a lot easier to get down this side of the Maungatapu,
apparently butchers pricks are a 'bit slippery' in comparison.
Still, I;d give that afternoon a solid 9 out of 10! Cheers, Rog.
Muzz.

Looks like a few real good viewing spots,, Glenhope Saddle would be able to see a lot of corners.
Anybody up for a gentle ride over the Maungatap tomorrow ?
Me and bacon will be coming over on a ferry tomorrow at some stage. Meet at Pelorous or something
