most of us will be there on the demo bikes

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

take western motorway to waimauku. basically a far as you can go on the western motorway turn left at lights at the end then right at roundabout. follow yellow brick road til...signposted from SH16 at Waimauku north of Kumeu. Follow the honda arrows and signs through Murawai township and onto Coast Road - up past the golf club and into the forest.

Excellent ride today, lost count of how many laps of the green and yellow tracks I did following my girls.... They loved it... Sophie in particular has come home bubbling with enthusiasm, she made real progress today, much more in control and 'almost aggressive' as in "if in doubt, gassit..."

Great to see the A&R clan back in action, I see a great summer of trail riding coming up.....

My newbie neighbour and her son rode heaps, both my CRF and the Botany Honda demo bikes. They're pretty much hooked, I think.............

I over heard a couple of disgruntled young riders complaining that the ride wasn't worth $40... All I can say is I think Greg reaches his target group OK, it's advertised as a "family ride", to expect balls out harescramble/enduro tracks is a bit dumb....

Didn't take many pix, the dappled light was too difficult for little 'ol me and I was too busy riding/helping.... What a fantastic activity............

    Good to meet you Courts.

Somehow I kept missing the green circuit.... hmmm, was it tougher than the yellow one or easier?

Anyway, had a good time. $40 seemed a bit steep, but the girl friend enjoyed the ride heaps. Got up a bit of pace which was nice.

Felt in the 'zone' for the first time
