Yep, just gave it back to them and I was quite enjoying it by the end of it. Man the Connie is big! Seriously, there's nothing wrong with the way it goes and it's dead easy to chuck around. I'd prefer better anchors but I'm kinda used to good stoppers. It also has an aftermarket muffler and sounds quite good and also some carbon goodies. Quite smooth for a twin.

Chances are I'll be shot down on this and you've heard it before from more experienced riders..but, one of the biggest differences I've seen between bikes is the weight and the handling characteristics going onto corners. A larger heavier bike has totally different dynamics so that is important in your choice. A lot of the twins have amazing engine braking and slow you down faster for corner entry.

Have fun testing but don't rush a purchase just because you can. If what you've got now works well for you keep it until you find that bike that makes your heart stop(figuratively).

Good advice there. Personally I went through a heap of small bikes before I got onto bigger ones (I had no cash so that helped too). A lot of people rush into getting sporty 4's and I wouldn't recommend that - better to try something a bit tamer. A twin of some description or a more cruisy 4 (say bandit or GSX-F etc) make more sense. My 2 cents...

Don't envy you either,house is sold,so been looking,and to my surprise haven't any prejudices,except no harley or cruisers.Might even keep cowboyz happy with one for him,not green though.Then heard through a mate up north that Suzuki may have a few specials in next 2 weeks,i.e like last years(continuing on)summer fest,and seeing the bandit is $12500 or so new makes it easier,and if it is part of a special/promo better.

Well woke this morning to another day in paradise....yeah right it was Raining.
Full licence test was booked for 9am.
Got down to Onroad about 8.45am by 9.30 I had my full licence.
