IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!!!
Do the peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly, peanut butter jelly with a baseball bat!
if heading south on southern motorway, take takanini exit (its after a long sweeping left hander and long straight) and just to left of exit is the BP. If heading north on southern motorway, will have to turn right once taken off ramp.
but will have to ask someone else what the exact exits are before it, as Im not sure, but think manukau is the one before it if heading south, and papakura if heading north?
The compas ride was fantastic, chur guys and girls for another fun night.
I was surprised to see farmers working on the fields at that time of night. Also surprising was the sudden change in temperature when the road dropped 500m in altitude - I was underdressed again
Doing those nice windy roads at night improved my night riding I think, as all my night riding has been mainly on well lit city streets so that was new experience for me. Gotta do more of that.
here some pics from the four compas ride.
1 GiJoe, Trace, Rie and Chisanga Knee down, riding a bench
2 TOTO knee down on the bench
3 & 4 swarmers at the port waikato lookout
5 Spot the Ninja...
6 Ninja shooting arrows...
I can show you you my landmarks before the turns so that you know when the turns are comming. will show you next time we go on sh16.
........................
1 Trace and TOTO surfing a table on takapuna beach
2. I found Blackshear on the side of the road before the compass ride - poor guw was broken down and from all comutting bikers noone stopped. Shame.
Wow, we really need to find the trick to taking good night-time photo's... all we tend to get is a flash of reflector and not a lot else

Well yes, you are right , we need a good night photographer to show us how its done. Probably the fact we shoot in total darkness doesnt help.
Hmm, I might come, I was planning to take my bike into Mt Eden at 1, I wonder if I can leave at 1, get there, then get back and meet at 2:30 hehe
Nigel you colossal fag, are you coming for a ride this time?
haha... i like those kinds of photos... means don't have to worry whether you look like a twat, cause no one can see anyway!
now why didn't you do that to start with... hehe, that would be great!
yay me, i passed a paper.... lets hope i get "correct" answers in my uni exams!

A very good pootle around the back blocks of the hunuas and all points in between, goat tracking back and forth, over hills and dales and around and about the hills!
A threesome (ooer! ) of GSXR Trace and Badger8 with moi, just a good couple of hours riding at a scenic pace and stopping off at Clevedon for ice cream and a drink.
zeocen joined at the end and brought the rain with him Around Twilight rd (where Badger made for homes) and back to my place to wash n'clean n'polish a GSXR down (ready for next weeks appearance as a talking conversation piece!)
First you washes it, after wasing, you degreases, then you washes again and degreases and repeats cycles! Once done, do the 3 step Meguiar's program and get bike pristine showroom shinies again
Mmmmm carnuba wax ...
zeocen rode over on a new bike, he did some spannerings and everybody was tickety-boo and well-chuffed about the day! The rain was coming down harder and I decided to ride out with Tracey to the city (any excuse for a ride ... even in the rain! )
Mmmmm can't wait to do some more riding tomorrows!

looks like good fun. catching ya tomorrow at 6:30
Thanks for the ride and for letting me wash my bike at your place GIJOE! Your a legend! But still definitely want to see a map of the roads we have covered!
I definitely want to head back to those straights as well! Hehe
See you tomorrow night!
Patience young grasshopperette, many are the winding roads, great is the procrastination in sorting out a map of the route and long are the days ...
I shall endure and scribe out the journeys and travails you have done in this short yet long period of riding time! Now ... where did we go ...
