Have you got a Busa demo at the moment Pete? Having flirted with an R1 earlier in the week, I think I may be interested in some heavier petting.

we're still waiting for that screen shot.......
You'll be waiting a while... A genuine 200mph, 320km/h, is not attainable on a stocker. Some mags overseas claimed to achieve it but the most realistic was in Aus on unrestricted model of 311km/h. The Busa had to be modified to reach the genuine double ton. Best in NZ was 307km/h. Only the turbo's can reach 340+

Hitcher on a Busa - that is something I didn't think I would ever see come to pass.
    Here for the ride.

Tail Tidy already on board and after that all I'll need is an easybreathing airfilter
Any chance of a pic of your stead focusing on the tail tidy ? this is the only part I don't like about them... I have tried a ZX14 not bad, but I have heard of & know of a couple of people that have one & have had to replace their engine due to internal issues ( 07 - 08 models mainly ) resulting in lots of $$$$$$ other than that they are happy ... I have always used a K&N filter on my bikes & find them great to use as you only have to clean them out when servicing... pity the Blackbird never went any further than they did as they are a awesome bike, but thats just my opinion

    Cheers

    I'm also 5' 10", and I love Busa's full stop. A to B, they're the fastest weapon I've ever used.

Check out my bikes album in my profile. You can see photos of the Hayabusa tail tidy in there. It looks much better than stock and the light works well with a nice crisp white/blue light on the rego plate.

Yeah rode an 08 and as soon as I had both feet on the pegs it felt cramped so did not ride it for long. 6ft even ..but as a few of us are looking to save a few bucks due to licesing fees its still an attractive option if reducing to one bike...occasional track day bike ?? any comment??
Perhaps I should go down to wellington to visit my sister and give crasher a visit for an extended test ride!!

I'm at Wellington Motorcycles on Kent Tce Mate. And as you're a tall chap...lowering the pegs an inch makes all the difference...and it's easy as to do. So let me know if you're gonna come down and ride one..I'll set it up for you.
