It's as up to date as the information provided by others (as I can't know when stations open, close or adjust their hours).

I'd suggest in the first instance you use a Garmin GPS and the NZ Open Street Maps. All points of interest are taken from the community project Zenbu (www.zenbu.co.nz) which anyone can edit after establishing an account (email address and password). I note 24hrs in the opening hours field and this is dragged through to the maps. Anywhere you are, search for fuel in the gps, put in the key phrase "24hr" and you'll find the closest 24 hour stations. Naturally they may be unmanned, and it's only card facilities.

Failing that, buy a bike with a 600km+ range

Must be challenge then ... I thought it was GAS. Only one set of pumps there ... opposite the shop at the (main road) turn-off to Taieri mouth.

I have been known to be wrong.

Any more specific info available? Brand?

Thanks, looks like it's Tarras Country Store, and no idea of what fuel it is (google maps indicated Shell/Z), so left it as is, but updated details.

New file is attached, updates as listed, Shell changed to Z for all entries and new file name as it's all the brands now.

Thats the place. It WAS Shell ... but when they put the 24 hour fuel in ... I think it changed. Will check next time I'm up there.

Ta, I've updated the spreadsheet above with details. McKeown is slack with specifics like address or number... might send them an email to see if I can get a listing of all their stations in a better format to feed into the Zenbu data...

They are the Fuel supplier to the Tarras Country Store.

Somewhere near here ... Not a bad place to stop actually. Plenty of bike friendly parking outside the shop and Cafe ... The outside toilets are usually open after hours too.

Sounds like a place requiring support then. I'll stop by late Feb during the TT2000

I meant a quick food stop... the GSA doesn't need to stop as often as I do

edit: to give you an idea. Saturday for the TT2000 is 1135km for me, a southern loop. I'll fill in Chch (probably 98 actually, to give me better consumption) and then fill in Cromwell hopefully, at 600km. That should be achievable, and then I can manage the 2nd leg back to Chch. Best I've had was 750km ish, but at a very economical pace. I can drain the tank in less than 600km at an elevated pace.
