The magnetic pole switching isn't a new thing, infact im pretty sure they've figured out that it's happened at least once before in the history of the earth. Theoretically it shouldnt mean didly squat to us, except for people still using compasses for navigation.

Apparently it is a regular occurance in the history of this planet. Just not in the history of mankind.

My understanding is there will be a mass shift in consciousness in 2012 .. the world ending as we know it, as opposed to it ending literally .. there are many prophecies surrounding the year 2012 .. right now, Im just trying to get through to the end of today without having to worry about 2012 lol

I really am a believer in having a wide knowledge base, but I must admit I am impressed. Where on earth did you come up with that from? One would need to go quite far out of their way to uncover such truths.

The problem with the galactic alighnment is that it has become an industry of soothsayers cashing in for the dollar. The fact that they see this as a cash cow indicates, at least to me, that they do not believe in the forcoming doom that they preach. Otherwise they would not be interested in the money that is being generated from this.

but I have had an interest in the Maya, Aztecs etc for a long time. I've been aware of the cyclical nature of the Aztec Mayan time keeping and knew that this was going to occur shortly after the begining of our 21 century but did not know of the galactic alingnment and the relationship untill relitively recently.
