bloody weather - had i left 5 minutes earlier i would've been dry the whole trip, rather than in the worst of it the whole way

Well we finished the ride with half the people we started with, but was fun.

only cause some noobs confused roadworks with checkpoint and rode all the way from warkworth back to wellsford, instead of sending a legal rider ahead to scope it out first

another good ride nonetheless

Jafa should have just sent Shaun to the end of the backed up traffic to check, and then texted the all clear etc.

The fact that the traffic was not moving at all as opposed to slowly was also a clue.

woot that pic was the 1000th one taken with my camera!

(and surely it was less of a detour to return my bag to me at the bar in albany than my place out west)
