Some people have no taste, and they should be warned for giving people with even less taste ideas about their KLR's.

Take a pic next time you see it so we can be truely disgusted.

Now that is cool as F*CK. Though personally I prefer the later 26ltr tank.

Some interesting work been done on that. I wonder what model the driveline was grafted off?

Ona positive note saw a very cool AJS or something on Murray Macleans truck today with knobs on. Wonder if it's in the shop for repairs? Be worth a pic.

Gentlemen prepare to drop your pants.....................

New Aprilia Tuareg with 750cc engine off the Dorsoduro and the Shiver with 21/18 wheels.

    Soon to follow a 1200cc version w/ 19/17 wheels

The 750cc model should be out in November for the 2010 EICMA show.

    Hmmm you like......yes no maybe.....
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to a report on Motociclismo, the new Aprilia Tuareg adventure tourer will be unveiled at the EICMA Show in Milan this year. The bike will be fitted with a 750cc parallel-twin engine (the same unit that’s also used on the Shiver and the Dorsoduro), steel tube chassis and a 21-inch front wheel, which means the Tuareg 750 will be fully optimised for off-road use.

Later, Aprilia may also do a more street-oriented version of the Tuareg, which will be fitted with a 1,200cc engine and a 19-inch front wheel. With bikes like the Yamaha XT1200Z Super Ténéré and the new Ducati Multistrada 1200 having recently been launched and with Aprilia also joining the fray with the Tuareg 750/1200, it seems the BMW R1200GS is finally getting all the competition it ever wanted… :-)

Hmm, never seen an Aprilia Tuareg before but it seems they made them around '87 - '91 in 50, 125 & 600cc. Here's a 1991 600 single, at least this old one looks like a proper ADV bike.

Sounds promising, apart from the KLE500 there's nothing in the smaller bore twin cylinder sizes these days.

As you state the 450 & 550's are hardly ADV bikes, they are designed and marketed as razor sharp race weapons. While the Wee Strom is a great bike and more capable than it may first appear I'd be cautious taking it on rougher stuff, especially after seeing what happened to the cast rim on the TDM on the CCA.

I did miss out the Transalp though, that is a pretty worthy machine.
