    Thumbs up Thermadry Polyprop Balaclava

Thermadry Polypropylene Balaclava from any sports store.

    Price range $12-$15

Size - Large - one size fits all, but very stretchy and snug.

Made in NZ by Weft knitting company LTD. http://weft.co.nz/

Other biking products by the same manufacturer - lots and lots. See website above.
edit: They have some other products call Thermastat. It's made from 100% hollow core Polyester. Apparrently it is a vastly superior product to Polypropylene.

We have four of these balaclavas, one for each member of the family. The short story is they are VERY GOOD, and cheap enough to have a few spares.

They are nice and thin, and screw up a little ball like a pair of knickers, so you can hide them away almost anywhere when not in use. Also they fold up on top of your head like a beanie to just keep your head warm when not in helmet-use. Being super thin, they WILL fit in your current helmet.

There are thicker and warmer polyprop balaclavas on the market, but you will need a looser-fit helmet to wear them.

Did they charge you for the sleeve? I just cut it off when no one was looking and wandered out.

Yeah. He paid 50c for the jumper and took it home and cut the sleeve off. I left the jumper on the rack cut the sleeve off, and walked out with it. Cost = 0

I was being facitious though.. but now thats overbaked the gag slightly.

    Re-read the post.
