Trust me I think he's a tosser for going about like that, but the image was a lot funnier than just your average whoever going about texting while riding/driving.
You mean this?

I wonder if it's possible to juggle on a motorcycle. Items would need to be heavy enough to be windproof. I reckon it would be doable.
I know - mobile phones - ride up queen street juggling mobile phones - one for each f***Knuckle that has turned with amazing stupidity right in front of me or changed lanes or pulled out without indicating in the last 72 hrs - because said knuckles were too busy texting or yapping.
At least matey on the hog is mostly only a risk to himself.
Edit: That isn't a Harley either is it?
can somebody retitle this thread
the bike in the picture is some jap clone of a harley
sombody's bottom lip is starting to tremble.....
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......
That guy is awesome. I think the bike is a drag star.... possibly.
This guy has no class! But what do you expect? He is lining up for the Ponsonby off-ramp...
Yep. I think it's about time they banned the texting, reading texts etc while driving/riding. When I end up behind someone going slow, and unaware of the people around them, they're usually texting.
A lady in a late model merc on the Southern hoping off at Market Road was my latest encounter. She was in a daize as she changed multiple lanes to exit while texting. Texting at 100k's on the Southern. Impressive and stupid.
As for bike guy, if he had to do a sudden stop, it'd be interesting to see how the phone gets used in all of that. In a car your total breaking power is at your foot. On a bike there's bugger all at the foot.
Great photo though. I'm sure the protective gear will work well in a crash. That is work well as pictures on the benefits of wearing the right protective gear for someone like ACC to use in their marketing.
Whatever gave you that idea? The difficulty is mainly limited to going, stopping, or handling. Or getting comfortable.
Our hero must have tragic fashion sense, Rossi hat and a hi-vis vest on a Harley?
Oh, And somebody mentioned stopping while texting; many Harley (and metric cruiser) riders seem to think the front brake lever is an ornament - a place to hang tassles (?). You won't have to read many cruiser road tests to come across references to this phenomenon. I saw it twice yesterday while looking for some information...
