went up douse drive, wanted to get out and get it before someone else did like lastnights effort :P

im also a mountainbiker and do a bunch of riding up there so i knew it straight away

THAT Will explain the Summit Road Pic last saturday morning, Not much excuse for being at the top of summit Road unless you've just hurtled down the firebreaks (used to be a mountainbiker myself but had to chuck it in 6 months ago due to ongoing neck problems being agrevated by the single track riding ).

You are not the only one. This one has got me too. Unless you just happen to know this spot, there is not a lot of information available in the picture to work out where this is.
But someone might just know where this is so give it a bit more time before dishing out any clues.

Yup, Lunchtime during the week was up the Wainui Hill (goat track) and then Single Track riding in the bush, or up the 4 * 4 Track to Fitzherbet and then Down Summit. Saturday Mornings would usually spend a couple of hours at the Kapiti MTB Park with local mates - lot of fun to be had.
