so was it basically as soon as you get that view... further down the hill the view is obscured by a bank,right?(on the left)

In street view, 144 Bing Lucas. You should be looking at the middle of the unpainted panels of the fence of the black house. Turn 180 deg is where the shot was taken. ( I know you want the exact location for the map).

the area is a new development area so on streetview there are no houses.

then worked out that Bing Lucas drive curves round to the right and we went straight which is Woodman drive... so took us about 30 mins to actually find the right spot. but we got it in the end. the fence posts were very distinctive we could see them from woodman drive but couldn't see how to get to it as we had gone past it about 2.5km's from the turn off... hehehe

Thanks hawkeye....I knew i was about right we me and cloggy were but though it might be back down the hill a little bit

it was easy...when you go down the j ville motorway past tawa there is a long low building up on the hill.....and you can see that in hawkeyes shot,the other landmark is the inlet....so you need a view of the inlet about opposite tawa!
