    Thumbs up Coromandel

Did the Coro loop yesterday, (in the Ute), how about we lobby the local council for a Coro loop bike weekend, they could close the loop to traffic in one direction, and everyone could ignore thew speed limit - a bike weekend

Can you imagine it being like the Isle of Mann

So who's up for a ride today, head out to Raglan to see the big waves
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on

Thanks Spaz, probably if I was going for Yammie it would be the XT660 or the like, just a little pricey compared to something like the DR.

Yeah.. the 660 Tenere would be my choice out of the 2.. the super is just too big and cumbersome especially compared to a DR

Working today - no ride for me.

Thinking about going up to the Ardmore Warbirds Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary Airshow in Auckland tomorrow - http://www.nzwarbirds.org.nz/events.html

I sure as hell wouldn't want to ride today. This wind is stupid. It's "batten down the hutches" type of shit. We learnt that the hard way last night. Heard a wicked gust, house shakes a bit, then I hear a crash...

    Fuck

Our big little garden shed decides to start heading to the neighbours as well as all my tarps. All my finishing timber is inside getting wet so I'm running between the shed site and the garage throwing everything in there.

Then I drag the twisted piece of junk in there as well.

Now I've got some panel beating on a shed to do (and patching and bending). I'm glad I didn't have the bike in there like I used to.

In may not be as windy in the city as it is here but this is the strongest winds I've seen here. I'm already sick of it.

The hail last night kept setting off my car alarm (it thought the glass was breaking)...had to move it down under the tree to keep the hail off it...hoping the tree didn't fall down. (It didn't).

Actually, I'd go ride today if I wasn't at work. Riding the storm can be fun - up to a point...

I nearly got caught in that hail on the humble Hyo, had just parked in town when it struck. Was most happy with my timing, don't fancy testing my skills in that shit.

You headed out to Diamond Harbour down there? That is an awesome road. I used to take a mates Mini around there 'cause she loved the way I would cock the inside wheel Can't wait until the day I take the bike down there.

    Ahh them were the days.
