I note a number of LOR riders have registered in the calendar for the Toyrun tomorrow. If wanting to take an longer way down there (up to an hour) meet at the Kingsgate Hotel carpark to leave at 9.30 am. getting to Cambridge at 10.30 am. Forecast looks good.

Many thanks to the Waikato Laxed Out Riders for allowing myself and ratbag to tag along. As always we enjoyed ourselves and the company was terrific, those roads are interesting to say the least Millen.I was lost within the first five minutes.
    Thanks again guys and girls.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

Good to catch up with you guys at Pirongia, trip down to Tekuiti great with not much traffic.

Met up with Naki riders & Taupo guys and then headed back Nt, 7 of us including Kerry & Kevie.

I dropped off just before Whata, great day for a ride.

Three riders havent seen this song for a while.
Bit of a crock, heading to the Toyrun and turning left onto Morrinsville road coppa coming from left does U turn in front of the group (12 bikes) and pings the first 3 for not stopping at the stop sign "didnt see a foot going down". Dont know how he can see whether the right leg went down onto the ground and what the hell is he doing, doing a U turn in front of the group!!

    QUOTA

"Sorry officer but we have sufficient witnesses to call bullshit. You had no way of knowing, and we also have sufficient witnesses to deem your U-turn to be extremely unsafe and nearly cause 4 vehicles to crash if it wasn't for their superior skills.

Tell you what, forget about the bullshit 'failure to stop' allegation and we'll forget about the 3 counts of careless driving you preformed"

    Officer: "bite me!"

He would have looked at it from the angle that none of the leading 3 actually came to a complete halt which would require a foot to be placed on the ground, As it was pointed out to me by a chap in a Blue boiler suit sometime ago " A stop sign means exactly that, STOP " $80 fine & 20 D points if I remember correctly
I Used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass

Didnt know a foot down was compulsory to complete a stop, cause I can get a foot down whilst moving (well rolling slowly anyhow) and also can come to a complete stop and not put my feet down (but not for long)...

Still think the coppa was an arsehole, can we swap him for Rastuscat maybe?
