    L o r.

Sounds like a plan - that is for Thursday 28th, isn't it?
(unfortunately, all the "meal deal" prices have just gone up - burger is now $12, don't know about steak meal)

Clocked up 350k today. I did some loop roads on my way to Taupo. The sidecars were in good form. Came back via more side roads. Some were new roads. Ngaroma road going both ways was magic.

    Almost had Pheasant for tea.

True and somewhat infamous story of a female KBer that urgently needed to relieve the pressure from within, central Hawkes Bay, night time trousers down...happily doing what was needed when.. without warning a pheasant headed northbound between said downed trousers and lower groin area. Splitting the whisker perfectly you could say.

Never quite figured out who got the bigger fright...

Rain and minor roadworks on Harbour road yesterday. Apart from wet hands, chest, crutch, feet and no visibility, was a fantastic ride. Only one cafe left open in Kawhia. The one at the wharf end (Annes Place) has closed.

    Northern Exposure trip

    Hey Guys & Gals

The FBMC (a group of good people who we have ridden with regularly) are organising a weekend away up to Whangarei - their website is now up and running again so you may want to look at details on there if interested. Weekend 24/25 this month or those approx date. You may need to go through the registering process as some one has previously maliciuosly hacked the site.

    http://forum.fatbikersmc.co.nz/index.php

If having trouble and your interested I can put some details on here - let me know.

    Hope all are well

    cheers and beers

yup should be a good trip, and be good to catch up with you and Trina

I think the ride info is available to guests.... you will need to confirm if going being an over night trip and if having issues registering a note here and someone will try to sort it, the forum is going well once registered but there are some glitches in that part still

    Taumarunui Ohura.

I have my bike listed for sale so am making the most of the weather this weekend.

Leaving Te A tomorrow (that's Sunday for those without a calender) about 10am. Plan A is ride through Ohura, turn left at River road back to Taumarunui, back road to Ongarue, Waimiha TeKuiti.

Plan B is 'somewhere else'. Maybe straight to Taumarunui, National park, Turangi, western bay rd.

A King Country frost will likely mean ice on the shaded corners most, if not all of the day. Will also mean some lovely views around N Park.
