I could be keen for another ride this weekend
At the clubhouse last night it appears at least 6 bikes are looking to go for a pootle this Sunday.
Sunday 29
A few showers and fine periods. Southwest breezes.
Meeting at Kingsgate Hotel carpark for 11.00 am departure with a coffee break/snack somewhere along the way - approx 150km's.
Whose interested???

Is it just me or are the departure times getting later and later?
My garage gets its final door installed today - which means it is now secure and I can bring The Vixen home at last! So if the weather is at all promising on Sunday I might just have to fang over to Raglan or somewhere likely. Be earlyish - maybe 9.00am or so if anyone is interested...

Some people are like Slinky’s. Pretty much useless but make you smile when you push them down the stairs
Trucks were made to carry racecars TO the track, not go out and butcher the race track surface.

How did the LOR ride go today?
My mate Phill and I decided that an 11 oclock start, was half the day gone, so went for a run this morning. Te A to Putaruru through some back roads, on to Tok.
The road to Whakamaru was in good nick, met up with the Rotorua Ulysses riders at the cafe there. They must be even older than us, half were riding three wheelers.
Phill and I turned off onto the Bennydale rd. Excellent surface and no traffic, Te Kuiti and up HW3 back home. Apart from a few bikes, these roads were almost empty. Just had to watch some of the shaded wet corners. Frosts come early down there and stay longer.
I've got untill next Weds off work so hope to get a few rides in.
