Plus the $185 shipping lol. yeah ive already been looking around just incase. it just seems ridiculous the idea of writing off a bike like that over some bits of plastic. but that can be the way of things. thanks anyway for the link.

Yeh I recon ..... but then the insurance companies seem to look at the cost of Genuine Farings I think ... when in a lot of cases the aftermarket ones are a fraction of the price and dont look too much different.

Yet at same time they sometimes rebuild a bike when one would be positive its gonna be written off ...... think sometimes they toss a dice and decide from the dice roll

Interesting article re Hamilton-Raglan road. Mr Slowfox will be able to provide more insight through his travels via this road

Yeah. Bit of the old "early onset male pattern baldness" involved there for sure.

I like this bit..."these sections on SH23 will be attended to within the next couple of weeks, when suitable weather opportunities present themselves. "

Like January 2013. Could be a loooooooong wait...

I do like that asphaltic concrete bit though. Pity it hasn't been dry for the past month.

Captain Slow (aka Dad) and I are keen. He seemed keen last week but the weather was rubbish. Good to see. Now we just have to wait until the Boyd's sale to get Mum some gear as well (although she won't go near anything that Dad's riding!).

See, every time I've ridden that rode it's always been in real shit condition and makes the ride crap. A shame since it's got some cool scenery.
