Bikes in at Boyds after a dog ran out in front of me on monday morning so I won't be able to go. Left shoulder a bit bruised and swollen too.
remember hitting a dog years ago - me and pillion ended up ambulanced but no real damage apart from some concussion of the pillion

Right fairing, mirror and exhaust scraped, top fairing broken around left mirror, brake lever and pedal bent. Frame is also scraped above top right engine mount where the oggy knobb bracket broke. Frame damage is only cosmetic (not bent or cracked) so hopefully it's repairable.
Damn that would rip ya nightie, hope it is repaired quickly.

I am the ride leader for the Ulysses ride on 30 September. We are meeting at Te Awamutu Caltex to leave at 9.30 am to head for Te Kuiti or morning tea at Tiffany's.
We are hopeing that some of the King Country crew might join us and show us around their back roads. If not we will make a decision where to go which may even include Ohura and Taumarunui or Kopaki Road and then to Aria. I am hoping that Shafty might turn up. He lives at Matiere these days.

Friday 21 Fine with light winds.
Saturday 22 Fine with light winds
Sunday to follow tomorrow
3 of us represented LOR at the Fatbikers cancer charity ride on Sunday - Got absolutely drenched heading up but once past Mercer and all the way back was pretty good. Bout 80 odd bikes there (bout 10 can-ams - weird looking things) and a good group of fellow bikers - all good fun in the end.
