Laxed out rides

All good brother. Hit some grit on the road, front slipped a bit so panicked pulled brakes bike went upright and I overshot the corner into the ditch.

I was not going too fast almost saved it but ran out of road just lost my balance enough for the scooter to slide a wee bit. Bruised ribs, foot, and side of shin. No gear damage. Rode home just fine.

Visible damage seems minor but need to get the bike to have the vital parts checked. Hope they get it sorted quick.. I'm on leave.. I want to go ride!

Time to put KiwiBike Insurance to the test.

Pleased to hear you're OK, surprised you didn't manage to get her back, but hey least you didn't collect one of those cage thingys as well.
Wife's bike still at the thermostat doctors so she can't ride either, if it's any consolation.
Won't tell you I'm heading to Stratford at 9 either, that'd just be mean.

Thanks... I think. Bike is at Haldane's, already had a call from assessor so repairs on the way.. Hopefully ready to roll soon.

hi everyone
all the best for the new year if anyone is interested in a little ride tomorrow friday i was thinking of a run to see if the Deus Ex Machina cafe was open will be leaving bp ngaruawahia at 10.15 and going up the 22 to drury then motorway to alk
