Hey lads. Kawhia/Waitomo loop sounds great, I'd also be keen on a Sunday outing.

I have another mate on a Yamaha MT01 who's keen but yet to confirm. How does 9.15 at BP Glenview sound? Depart by 9.30 via Rukuhia road through to Ngahinapouri, Pirongia, Kawhia road, then Harbour road, around to Waitomo for lunch or a snack etc then back to Hams by about 3pm?

I better go check my hoses now it's cooled down. Was hard pressed to keep you two in sight today. Think I need a faster bike ... or bigger Nads!

As long as you don't ride past your comfort level... better to let them go and wait for you than push past your limit

Al and Dan - thanks for the company today, ruddy great day to be out riding, the three different bikes seemed to work out real well across the varying terrain and conditions. Awesome stuff.

The loop was in pretty good condition huh, earlier on in the ride we were talking about how surprisingly few bikes you get on it but turned out the bike count was probably higher than cars. We almost joined an impromptu road-side party at the Teharoa Road junction there too

You should all have fine riding weather as long as my bike is off the road. As soon as I get it sorted, the weather will turn to shit again...
