I originally wanted black colour but there were aparently none in the country, so I would have to wait 3-4 weeks and pay bit more $$. This Gold one has grown on me and was a shop demo with only 300 kms on the clock. Got a sweet deal, free 12mnths reg, free servicing and a leather Triumph Jacket.

Which all up would have been around $1500 or so. So was pretty happy
That would be right. They're the same chassis and tank aren't they? Hell, ya just need some clip ons, different seat and rear guard and you're pretty much there. Unless you wanna make an Ace Cafe Special

Good deal. You had to have a classis jacket if you're riding a classic trumpy...it's the rules

That is a one sexy cafe racer. Already ordered the M bars and Napoleon bar end mirrors for mine. Next is to get rid of those stock pipes and put some nice sounding ones. I am thinking Thunderbike pipes. Heard lots of good things about them. And yes, the jacket is period correct for the Bonnie.
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

    Up for the ride Sunday?

Thinking about it although 9:30 meeting time is actually going to be 8:30 as daylight saving starts Sat night

HAHA, Got the Pee Pot, yes, a scarf and some sharkys. Was thinking about the flying goggles just for a lough. Could be keen for a ride, weather permitting...

The thunderbike pipes are really pricey aren't they? Bar end mirrors are a must on any nekked bike.

Doesn't Slofox have some goggles? Every time I think of goggles on a classic bike I always think of this...

$1250 for Thunderbike ones, which is the same as the std aftermarket triumph ones. Still need the new remap. Arrows are $2500 for a full set. But from what I have seen and heard, Thunderbike ones sound the nicest

its my preferred route that I have done a few times, good day ride if you dont muck around although you are looking at staying overnight somewhere which wont bother you I'll keep an eye open for dates that you choose & see if I can tag along, happy to lead but will make a day trip of it
