Funny thing is, if you did the slow speed stuff yesterday, you pretty much have included the test in their. Plus, you get the added benefit of cornering and all the other stuff.

Good you liked it. A heap of people, including Brooke, are apprehensive about jumping on a track to learn. From what Brooke told me there was a bit covered if you were new. There's other advanced courses that make your brain explode with the amount of content they cover in a day. It takes about a week after for you to process all the info from that one day! I think that's the good thing about cramming so much into those training days though. Sure you miss out of working on certain things and forget but if you start practicing straight away, it all comes back to you and it means it'll stay with you. That's my theory anyway Besides, it makes you wanna go back for more training (and pay them more money) haha
BHS is 5 or 10 kmph around a carpark, nowhere near enough experience to let you out on the road! (Although I can't talk as had my learners for at least four years before buying the bike and then rode it home from hastings...) We did the cone weave and a u-turn and practiced braking, all are in the BHS. Then we got the cornering, the safety skills for on the road, throttle control etc etc
I was very nervous when I came down the road and saw the track for the first time, really started to freak! But the guys were so good about everything, took it real slow the first time out and then we just got into the rythm, learnt more and everything became easier!
I don't think I will be getting much sleep the next few days, my brain is just spinning with information. My coach gave me a whole heap of printouts which is awesome, will give me plenty to study if I feel like I forgot something. And I will probably understand the Twist of the wrist books more now too. I just want to get out on the bike and ride and ride and ride...

    haha I know the feeling.

It's good when you break your virginity. The first time is always the scariest but most memorable It's addictive.

Brooke's exactly the same. She was talking about riding over to Raglan I think seeing the photo's they took of her helped a lot as well. Some cool shots.

Will do. One guy took quite a few photos of Brooke. We had a bit of a giggle. There was one of her from behind which there wasn't of for many others and she reckons it was because she was going so slow he had time to follow her!

Sure, I can't think of any other reason why a male photographer would take a photo from behind a chick on a bike......

You tried it blind folded yet? haha. Or did the new seal screw up your mojo? Not used to the smooth surface.

Any ride this weekend? Don't even know what it's gonna be like.

Blindfolded, eh...Hmmm - never thought of that! The new seal makes it much more betterer.

Sunday should be fine according to Metservice this morning. AND I should be around Sunday as well.

Rain Saturday and Monday. I hope the weather doesn't shift.

I will probably miss any ride this weekend, but might try to squeeze a quick blat out to get that tag this weekend as no-one else has yet (didn't want to get too greedy, give others a chance to play!)
