    Thumbs up

As usual and as always it's most appreciated, thanks for the hospitably last evening ladies and gents of the W L O R. Enjoyed the ride down and the quiet beer with you all, the ride home was awesome too, no worries at all from the ol Coal Burner.
Looking forward to having a combined WLOR and BFTP, perhaps even the FBMC group get together sometime in the near future.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

Would that be the "Alphabet soup" ride then would it?

Oh well that's OK then. I hope you got her when the exchange rate was up. Might not have been worth the $9.99 otherwise.

    Hey, I rode it

    Proof

Someone has to try and keep the rear tyre from looking like a barrel.

So any ideas for a Sunday ride then? I was thinking the pub/cafe in Okororie (sic) down from Tirau, then maybe back through the other side of Karapiro or something
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Just read that. And here I was planning to ride that road on Sunday. And it would have been there around that time too, had it not been for poor weather and my piss poor motivation. Hope the rider pulls through. Anyone know if it is one of the KBers?

Can't've been me - I'm way older than that.

Fingers crossed for the dude involved, eh.

I would be almost willing to bet that the poor bastard hit grovel or other shit on the road. That road is known for not being exactly nice and clean at best of times.

A while ago mate of mine came around corner on the Ngaruawahia - Waignaro road, and came to grief on a corner, where there was grovel strawn after road works but no roadworks signage was placed to warn traffic. He spent few mnths in hospital then successfully sued the local council and roading company for not indicating that there were roadworks present. They paid for his bike and his loss of wages. Though nothing could fully fix his badly brocken leg.

Came through Maungatautari Road this morning. Quite a lot of loose metal on that one too. Oh and no signs of course...
