Typical Waikato spring,
sun, rain,
and cows!
Why is it, you can ride for 2 hours and the 'nano-second' it takes to cross a 4m cow pad provides 80% of the crap stuck to the motor and exhausts?? I know glue was made from hooves once, but somebody missed a golden opportunity with cow shit.

Finally looks like we are going to get a good day on a Sunday - must be time for a ride - leaving 11.00 ish for a bite to eat somewhere. Maybe Okoroire - any ideas anyone??

Long as it's dry we'll head thataway Muzza.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
Ended up heading to Whangamata via Paeroa and Waihi yesterday. Weather was good, nice and dry, good temperature. Not a lot of traffic either, I did pass a ute which looked to have a big cooler loaded on the back, then after stopping in Whanga for a bit I caught up to the same ute heading out towards Hikuai. Seen signs of a few slips too through the Karangahake gorge and heading through to Thames.
Couple of close calls, one just out of Gordonton where I found a cager on my side of the road (oncoming) for no apparent reason (got my heart pumping afterwards) and just general noobness of oncoming overtaking maneuvers.
I was at Te Rapa tavern last night. Where was everyone?
Time to ride
