Hi Team, I am a new rider and this laxed out riding looks just like my cup of tea. I am off next weekend and the weather for Saturday looks good.
I have just moved to Nelson and the bike needs a service and tune so I'm looking for somewhere reliable and who won't rip me off to do it. I have been told some people who post to this thread live in Blenheim and might be able to help advise me on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Heres a ride for Sunday a few of us might attend - will update later in week

Life would be so much easier if you addressed questions with a simple answer.
Went through to Putaruru late afternoon, return trip was about 5 oclock. Fantastic scenery on the return. The late sun making long shadows across the green fields and rolling hills, and shining through the trees dropping the yellow, red, orange leaves of Autumn all making for sharp crisp colours. Beautiful.
Might ride out to Kawhia tomorrow.

Yes they do need doing, but I need to go to Otorohanga and the bike is the only vehicle with gas in the tank.Caseye;Na, he's ageless and got nothing better to do than ride his motorcycle, lucky barsteward.
Not quite ageless Caseye, going to be made redundant by xmas and with two years to go before retirement the bike may have to be flogged off. No likely hood of finding work that will support a car and a bike, so may as well enjoy the bike while I can.

Went through to Otorohanga on Tuesday to drop off my fathers war medals that my son will wear on Anzac morning. After that I took a slow ride around a couple of roads. Not a lot of autumn colours appearing yet. Amazing how 100k can roll over without any effort.
Kawhia road.
Maungamahoe road.
Working this weekend so no riding.

I ended up in Rotorua today to catch up with family. Found a nice twist section from ngongotha through hamurana rd
