Spending money on it depends on if you want to keep it or not and what state its in. Pictures would be nice.
Don't see many of the Daytona Orange ones.

They were the bees knees of Beemers back in the '70s. Me thinks will increase in value.

That seems quite a high price .. not sure I would pay it .. it may well be a good price for a collector bke .. but too much for a ridign bike ..
Downs- irl ... If it's Orange then HDC might just have to stand in line ... I loved them when they first came out (but then, I'm not convinced I wnt another BMW ...)

Like it or not they are all collectors bikes now. Recent articles in Classic Bike and a few others have simply added fuel to the fire and prices are on the up. Good original is what the market wants followed by correct restoration and its becoming an international market if you are prepared to ship overseas. Not many people buying them to ride these days.
Not that many come up for sale.
buy this then, less than 10k http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=597740950
An R100RS mono converted to S trim. nicer to ride, better brakes and gearbox, whats not to like.....

Isn't an R90S just a tarted up R90/6 using a few bits BMW had lying around so they could clear out the parts bins?
And then buy this to make it really cool.

And now Beemer are recognising it and giving it a 40 year old birthday concept tribute...
