5.5" is to big. I have a 5" Sony, was reluctant on the size but wanted it because it was waterproof, cracked the screen moving furniture...wasn't even anything big!
If you live in a city and don't do anything more than catch buses and trains with them, it'd be fine, and that's who they're targeting with most this stuff imo.
Just tools. You get the best one for the job.
I'm not tempted though. I was keen to see what the watch would do. No music player/headphones. Will stick with the ipod nano.
My other observation from looking at the news today is that the type of people who become emotional about brands are often the ones who can't spell those emotions.
5 years late.
I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
It seems they are slowly catching up with Samsung.

Young one at work came in this morning all excited about the i-watch. Sooooo wants one. I pointed out she never wears one and has a new i-phone 5 that does all the same with a better screen .......
My thoughts? I gots a Nokia brick from (I believe) somewhere round 1876 but if I was gonna get a smarty phone it'd probably be Apple, I'm not sure I like the direction they're headed but then can't say there's anything better on the market

Aslong as hollywood superstars buy it and have there naked photos hacked, then im all for it.
Would I own one? Can think of better ways to spend a grand
Posting this on my oldish Mac, still prefer it to the Windows machine I have to use at work.
But I won't pay $1000 for a phone. I tried buying an older model, everything synced nicely with my Mac-based world but it sucked for web use - came to the conclusion the telcos must prioritise newer iPhones on their networks as a way of managing bandwidth.
Bought a Sony phone, works much better for web browsing but it's also a more complicated user experience for me; at least they (and Samsung I think?) make an effort to supply software for the Mac for syncing, but it's pretty clunky.
Still I keep looking at the entry level iPhone offerings hoping one day they'll release something that fits what I need, every time I'm disappointed. Who sells a smart phone in this day and age for $600+ with only 8GB of storage? They're having a laugh, surely, when a 32GB Micro SD card can be had for around $20.
Also, anyone else notice they've increased the storage on the mid and high end iPhone 6s, but not on the entry level? That's a pretty cynical marketing ploy if you ask me.
I like gadgets so the Watch looks interesting, but no iPhone, no Watch, so no Watch.
