    My new bike

Took delivery of my 2012 Suzuki Boulevard M50, Holeshot Suzuki threw in a pair of saddlebags and a GIVI screen. Unfortunately the post 2010 M50 has different bag mounting hole centre, it's 200 mm vs 215 mm on the C50 and pre 2019 M50, and it's about 30 to 50 mm wider than the C50 and pre-2009 M50. So no aftermarket manufacturers make a luggage rack for the post 2010 M50.

I have therefore mounted my old saddlebags off my previous M50, Angie, and installed the screen.

Her name is Layla, yet another bike of mine named after a woman's name in a rock 'n' roll or blues song. I think she looks good.

Named after the Eric Clapton song?

Looks like many happy miles to come.

Who do you think the "Derek" in Derek and the Dominoes was?

The original Derek and the Dominoes song was hard rock, Clapton's unplugged version is real slow hand blues. But it's the same singer, just 40 years difference give or take a few here or there.

Writer credits for Layla are split between Clapton and Gordon

"Layla" is a song written by Eric Clapton and Jim Gordon, originally released by their blues rock band Derek and the Dominos, as the thirteenth track from their album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (November 1970). Its famously contrasting movements were composed separately by Clapton and Gordon.
From Wikiimpedia .. but Wikimpedia also has a lot of other people contributing ..

Yeah, and the singer in Derek and the Dominoes was one "Derek" / Eric Clapton - The BBC Top of the Pops made a mistake with the band's name when they first appeared on the program, so they left it as Derek and the Dominoes. So, of course it's a Clapton song, but my point was under which name did Clapton first perform it.
