But I guess its like the Skylines. People hated the new look G-35 series skyline before the GTR35 came out. "It's a V6 and not turbo.....must be shit". Where as I saw they had fixed all the bullshit the R34 had.....it was fucken lovely to drive.
Anywho back to topic. Anyone know the top speed of VT250 (the early 80's one not the spada)? When I was a youngin I never topped one out but would get to 140 easy.

170 k's on my FZR. It may have gone quicker, I doubt it'd get to 200. I4 250's are fun and rev high but are no real speed demons.
Got my car to 237 Km/h once about 8 years ago. That was absolutely everything - almost on the limiter in 5th gear, took ages once it got to about 180. Factory claimed 206 km/h. Not keen for that anymore not with over 300,000 kms.

I swear I remember getting my Ninja EX250 to approx 160kph. By comparison I could barely get my VTR250 to 140kph, but perhaps that's due to no fairing. Plus I'm not as light as some..
