Anybody seen this fucking piece of shit on TradeMe yet?

Starting bid is $48,000. Goodness knows how much he was expecting that hunk of trash to fetch.

Might as well buy a Panigale or H2 or V-rod or Vmax or literally any other top end/flag ship bike with that money than this abomination.
Beautiful. Not only is it Italian (with all the quality and refinement that comes with), but handmade components make it impossible to repair/service etc.

Someone check me, but isn't that a CBR1000R tail section? I remember that square-ish shape and mesh sections behind the rider's seat.

At least Ducati are happy to stump up for the warranty.

    Christchurch Is Kinda Small....

This one made me chuckle a bit... I don't want to say much but I know this guy who's selling this bike

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...1030355661.htm

    '06 Anniversary Special Edition R1 @ 47,000kms with a starting bid at $10,495. What a joke.

here's another CHCH seller with the same bike with decent mods

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...1030277299.htm

I recon this R1 is a very decent deal for $7500 @ 50,200kms for an Anniversary Model....

The reason that I shake my head when I saw the first bike? Not only do I feel the price is too high ($3000 difference with the 2nd identical bike) but because I know he got that bike less than a year ago for $8000. He's not asking for 10.5k, it's just the starting bid... Truly a wishful optimistic seller.

What are you talking about? Obviously the first one is 30 years older than the second bike, a fine classic in a shiny condition like that. Certainly worth it.

That's a late model one, there be fuck all RGV in that bad boy. Bike is awesome, but it wouldn't fetch half the asking price here.

I don't know much about the quality of the modifications, but a buy now of $10,000 for a 1982 Toyota Corolla seems a tad on the hi side
