This is for the speedway sidecar, but mx boots have no flexibility, and speedway boots are for solos. I was going to try using my old dririder commuter boots and see how they hold up.

Suggestions or if you have some size 10ish boots for sale that would do the job. Cheers

Any thing that's comfortable and flexible with good grip will do the job as long as they cover your ankle bones so in the event of shit happening you've got protection for your ankles. I found my bike racing boots too stiff. Basket ball boots/shoes are okay.

I think footwear comes down to personal choice, and with my limited experience possibly to do with not only the type/size of deck your passenger-ing on but also your style of passenger-ing too. I know Richie Lawrance wears road boots on the inside of his leathers, Little Jo wears sneakers, and Tracey is currently trying out those flash little ankle bootie things.

Legally (MNZ rules) they must cover your ankles so just wear what ever you feel comfortable with and if they don't cover your ankles just duct tape them to the bottom of your leathers like Jo does. By the way Mum doesn't want her sneakers back now...they're rooted

I used to use car racing boots, more grip and more feel, I wouldn't ever go back to Motorcycle boots

I used ankle high (leather) converse sneakers, But car racing boots are my favourite.. I still use them in the riders seat. Good feel and flexibility. Like those hoes in Bejing

Daytona make the sidecar boot you're thinking of, most of the top guys use them, ugly and expensive £280, although I guess that's no worse the Sidi or some other brands
