Here's an interesting question for the KB brethren.

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-952003311.htm

Now I am not saying the chap is asking too much, but the question is how much is a bike worth the second you ride it out of the workshop. This bike is virtually brand new bar his wife barely riding it (weird as these look great fun, which is why I have been looking at them.). He says he doesn't have enough garage space for 3 bikes, I argue that this is only 1/2 a bike lol.

Brand new these range on the internets from 4k-5k. Quite a spread really, must not be selling well. Best case scenario is 4k plus ORC from Taranaki, this chap is asking 3750 starting price. Is 300 odd dollars worth the purchase of a bike which you don't know 100% the history of?

So yeah, how much is a bike of this value worth once you sign the form?

I don't know about groms but what I know is a $29,950 S1000RR with Akrapovic slip-on and other accessories are worth $20k instantly you take it out of the show room floor.

Other than the excuse of no room for bikes (I could probably fit that bike in my cupboard) I think he's selling it at a reasonable deal.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I remember there was some dick head on here a while ago trying to argue that his used ninja 250 was with its new price because he had done the break in period for you and taken great care of it. Wanker.

Haha, wanker indeed. I can almost see his logic... Almost. Not like breaking in a bike is that hard, ride it like a muppet by not keeping it at constant revs for around 500kms, then roll it on nicely when you give it the beans. Change it's virgin oil to get the metal bits out. Done.

Orrrr, if it is a brand new company car, ignore the above

Sorry but you can get 6 bikes in a single garage without too much juggling to get one out. So I'm not sure of the logic here.

Not one of those muppets that has the laundry in there? Silly idea.
Don't you look at my accountant.

    It's a dressed-up GN250, and it's almost 20 years old.
How do you get your fluids cleaned, by the way?

Haven't heard it quite called that before, think its when you haven't had it in a while and finally that girl in the pub feels sorry for you.

Anyhoo, what sort of loser would park a gn in the lounge as art. Fart maybe. A mate has a TZ250 , another has an RZ500 project. They are art. But a Ginny?

    1987 GN250 28,000kms....for $5150

Customised and commissioned... and would you believe that there's only two in existence??!! Woah bargain!!

I mean... the more customized the faster it makes the GN250s right?

Mate, it's a one-of-a-kind that combines classic custom styling with the latest in modern performance.

"This bike is in excellent condition, still retains all the original running gear and is unmodified engine wise, except for the Harley style muffler. "

    Oh wait, nevermind.
