Tips on how to avoid "helmet hair"!

Anyone reading this who knows me will think I am taking the piss, due to a lack of anything[Ichoose my words appropriately!] on top. However my wife has recently become a pillion with me-well done her!. She has long hair and recently had a severe case of helmet hair complete with tangles and knots. So what advice do you have for her to help avoid this in the future?

The wind makes the friggen worst tangles in hair! Tell her to buy some spray in, leave in conditioner, and use it. Keep her hair in a pony tail if it cant be plaited.

depends how much hair you have,

shoulder length hair can often be done in a bun
hair like mine can't, there's too much of it and it's too long (a tight plait is close to 2ft long).

a plait works wonders one your hair gets too long for a bun, nothing else I've tried works.
ponytails are useless at this point, it still tangles horribly because there's too much freedom to move
To be free is to accept the consequences of your acttions

The wife uses a hair net thing, bit like a shower cap, her hair is only shoulder length but seems to work for her

I tie mine in a low ponytail and tuck it into my neck warmer. I tuck the back of the warmer into the base of my helmet and the bottom part sits under my jacket. Hair looks like crap no matter what you do but who cares, we are riding a bike and that's what it is all about. But this wat at least I brush it for my work in a corporate role the next morning. No wind knots.

My hair is nearly down to my waist, so I tie it in a low pony tail and plait it tightly. Then either tuck the plait inside my neck warmer and inside my jacket or let it fly free if being tailgated by dickheads.........seems to get them to back off when they realise a blonde female is riding the bike.
I'm not arguing, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

I gave up on the knots and let em go for it !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Tell her to wear a tight, low cut top so no one will even look high enough to notice her hair.
No body move... I dropped my brain
