Ashhurst to Woodville via Saddle Road

Known locally as the high road, Saddle Road twists gracefully over the southern tip of the Ruahine Ranges. Take care riding as it can be very windy at times as this is where a large wind farm is situated.

A faster route to the centre of town is to continue along Oxford Rd, taking a right turn at Mclean Rd and continue along this into the centre of the Main St of Woodville... this brings you out close to Cafe88, a cafe I can highly recommend for food and a great cup (or bowl if you prefer) of coffee.
