Chatto Creek 1000 miler

The Chatto Creek 1000 miler is an annual event organised by the Chatto Creek Motorcycle Club. The ride is held on the first weekend of December each year, and comprises of 1000 miles (1630 km) to be ridden within a 24 hour period. It is a similar challenge to the Rusty Nuts Grand Challenge. It starts at the Chatto Creek tavern at midday on the Saturday and finishes before midday on Sunday.
The route is made available to riders on the night before the event. There are a number of compulsory check points and a meal is supplied mid ride.
