The Full Licence
The full licence is the third and final stage in the gradual drivers licensing system.
To apply for a full licence the licence holder needs to have held a restricted licence for between 3 and 18 months, depending on age and optional course completion.
For riders under 25: 18 months (12 months with the completion of an approved course) For riders 25 and over: 6 months (3 months with the completion of an approved course)
Further information on the approved courses can be found here. It is worth noting that for riders under 25 the restricted licence must be held for at least 6 months before the course is completed in order for the time reduction to apply.
