Hampton Downs is a new race track that is expected to be finished late 2009. The new track, which is being built near the current Meremere drag strip and oval, is located in North Waikato, approximately half way in between Auckland and Hamilton.
The Circuit is an advance on current tracks in New Zealand. When completed it will be a world class leading facility. Apartments, Industrial units, a Business park and a complete village are being build to complement the Circuit.
To get to the circuit, travel either south from Auckland or North from Hamilton on SH1 approximatly 40 mintutes, from either city.
