Add an article:

Add an article to a category:
Edit the page and at the bottom, add the text: :for each category you want the page to belong to.
See the List Category and Unused Categories pages for a list of all categories.
Add a Google map to an article:
The Kiwi Biker Wiki uses the Google Maps extension; check it for the syntax needed for adding a Google map to your article.
To trace a route on the map, get the latitude/longitude (lat/lon) coordinates from Google Maps. Use the "Directions from/to here" in the right click menu. Once you have your route traced, paste the URL from the "Link" menu at the top right of the Google Map page. Add the suffix "&output=kml" to the end and save it. The resulting text file will have inserted the latitude and longitude between the <coordinates> tags. These need to be converted from a single line into two columns of coordinates with the third column of zeros removed. This can easily be done with a good text editor or Excel. Because of the large amount of text required to add a map with a traced route, we would prefer if you add the map to a template and insert the template into your article.
If you have any difficulty, email SpankMe with the route details and a link to the article, and he will do it for you. :)
