Protecta has been insuring Kiwi bikers for over 20 years, offering specialist motorcycle insurance cover, and can also cover you for track days. Their Full Cover motorcycle insurance policy includes road side assistance (provided by AA Roadservice Cover) and Helmet cover. They offer instant online quotes and policy purchases (for both motorcycle insurance and car insurance). They also offer classic vehicle insurance (motorcycles, cars and hotrods).

Protecta Insurance is a full Underwriting Agency, which means that they handle all aspects of your policy, including processing claims and any other policy administration. Their policy is underwritten by Allianz New Zealand Limited, who have a Financial Strength Rating from the Standard and Poor's Rating Scale of Strong Financial Security (Rated 'A'). This means they have one of the strongest claims paying ability of any insurer in New Zealand.

Protecta's policies are available via a network of sub agents, including most motorcycle dealers, insurance brokers, and finance companies. They are also available direct, either over the phone or direct from Protecta's website. They have four levels of cover available:

Full Cover (on or off road)

Third Party, Fire and Theft (on road only)

Fire, Theft (from a locked building) and Transit (off road only)

Fire and Theft Only (on or off road)
