Hay guys hope im not creating an exisiting post but im wondering where the best place will be to take my handlers cert in hamilton? ie price wise and
professionalism.

Just purchased an 88 NSR250R and im very keen to start riding.

Cheers would be the prime goal I have an equal fear of damaging the bike

Just need to get some riding time under my belt before I go for the cert, looks like boys high will be a good place to start.

Grant at Passrite is an awesome guy! Give him a call and compare prices. He's flexible on time too. My missus did hers on a sunday arvo. He's a top bloke and his partner helps out - she's a good craic too

I was in a VTNZ station the other day and they had a brochure for the Hamilton Motorcycle Riding School. The info differs to that on the website as i think the website is quite outdated.

It sounds like you intend doing yourself and you bike a big favour by taking some lessons.

Have no doubts about spending the money.

IT IS 100% WORTH THE CASH IT WILL COST YOU.

Well done on doing things right:Punk: I don't know how Ward Fischer is for new motorcyclists but he was outstanding when he took me for my advanced 1:1 course about 5 years ago. If my memory serves me right, he was chief instructor for the Police or old Ministry of Transport so he's a very experienced guy.

Yep, spend as much money as you can afford on training. Buy third party insurance (if you don't need full cover) and spend the savings on Training!
Better $ spent..... Fix fence at top of hill before parking ambulance at the bottom etc.

Your NSR is a rather handy little bike if ridden properly. If ridden improperly it can be nasty.

Looks like Ward Fischer is well qualified to train you. Go for it.

Oh, and try some training days with Honda Riders Club (http://www.hondaridersclub.co.nz/) too.

I did my BHS at Passrite. I thought the instructor was really good. Had a CRF150 to do the test on, made it really easy.
