Just got my first pair of proper bike pants. Usually just ride in jeans but doing the brass this weekend so thought I'd better get my act together. OMG - looked in the mirror. What a shocker.:eek5: I am broad enough in the beam without padded lining and armour!! Oh well, I may not look elegant, but at least I'll be safe and warm.

How many pick handles across is it, Rosie? :D

It's all relative, because we women all look a little bit bigger in leather bike pants. And by the time you put a jacket on the top half, everything is back in proportion. Don't worry, most men go crazy for a woman in motorcycle leathers anyway ;)
Oh well, I may not look elegant, but at least I'll be safe and warm.
Elegant is not what is important here, you will be safe, and hopefully warm!
We all look friggen yummy as all get out in our gear, trust me on this

Yes, but my point was that if you have a "normal" sized arse before the pants, then they are not going to make you look huge. Anyway, some blokes like a little junk in the trunk ;) Just like some women don't mind a man who is growing through the top of his hair

ok - reality check
if you bought them as a fashion statement you've wasted your money [we ALL do - they flatter NOone]
but if you bought them with safety and snug in mind - you are a winner, no?
personally, i think your purchase makes you a winner!! :Punk:

Not to mention the need-to-pee-bad-dance that you do, which also can bring on beads of sweat over your body, of course increasing the struggle with all those layers, velcro and zips :shit:

The variations of the wee dance are classic. Are you a front to back kinda chick or more of a side to side motion one?

I take it then that a lack of pics means...YES you do have a big arse. but hey it is a well protected arse and it is clad in leather. So there you go! nuff said.
I you have to ask...the answer is yes ofcourse it does...

Men either respect all riders or think women look hot on a bike.... so either way from a male perspective you're fine!

I wore them on the Brass and they kept me bloody warm. So that's the main thing. Might get some stylier ones when my finances recover from the bike repairs but until then, will be wearing these, regardless of how they look. Can't believe I've been freezing my arse off in jeans all these years.
