Should've taken to the muffler and header with a bit of Autosol and a rag.
The glass headlight cover looks askew. OCDsayswhat? What?

BUT!
The front guard looks fucking mint!
Along with everything else, it's all in showroom nick.

Looks very tidy but we really need a 'before' and 'after' picture to enable us to judge your work :)

The glass headlight cover looks askew. sharp eyes you have young jedi. New lens is arriving tomorrow.
Yep I did think the finishing touch would be a new muffler. Then I thought hmm learner bike its gonna get scratched anyhoo

Nice one frosty. I'm currently contemplating buying an old 70's learner bike and doing it up a bit. Might even sell my 650 if the wee one performs well enough when it's done!

Mental image if it helps. Matt black paint. big dent in tank. chrome work a lovely brown color, seat overdue for a recover
Mechanically it sounded great as those old 250 yams do but cosmeticly a bit of a mess

a combination of ways.reached inside the tank with a tool. It looks like a bit of bent 10mm rod with a flat on the end. Then a special kind of welding wire welded to the outside and a puller. grind and sand that flat and then skim the surface with body filler. Done right you end up with the ripples only being about 2mm before you need to use any filler
