A possible contract may see me returning to NZ

I Have a full bike licence legally issued in the country I've been residing in

However, the asian country in question isn't on the "approved list" as per the LTSA website where one can exchange for a kiwi licence without the requirement for testing

Is there an option/exemption system for me to sit a full test straight up, even a restricted will do fine if need be

Returning to Noo Zullund and an expensive 250cc L-plate is a ridiculous thought

?

Yes there is. They are being a bit strict at the moment, but if you pay your $22 and fill the form out, quite likely they will let you ride a mid-range tourer of around 400-750cc. If you are ol-der, they might even allow you to sit your full license immediately.

edit: if you bring your full license with you, I understand you can use that here until you get your fool NZ license. The idea is to ride on your S.E.A license until you have a full kiwi license. This might carry you over in the meanwhile. At the very least, it will fuck the cops up with all sorts of loopholes so they give up trying.

You can ride for one year on your johnny foreigner license. Leave the country for a day and you can come back in and ride for another year.
